Privacy policy

Who we are

Creative Crafts Solutions (“we”, “us”) is a creative studio in Nairobi. This policy covers the public website, the quote and contact forms, and related email. It does not cover official Government of Kenya portals such as eCitizen — those have their own notices.

What we collect

When you request a quote or send a message we ask for:

• Name
• Email address
• Phone number (optional, but useful)
• The service you are interested in
• Your message, including any budget or timeline you choose to share

We also receive technical data the server needs to run: IP address, browser type, pages requested, and the date and time of the request.

If you later become a client, we may hold additional details needed to deliver the work (company name, billing, project files). Those are handled under the engagement, not as public-website analytics.

How we use it

We use enquiry data to:

• Reply to you and prepare a quote or plan
• Keep an internal record of leads so the studio can follow up
• Email the studio a copy of the request (via SMTP if configured, otherwise the server mail function)
• Improve how we run the site and prevent abuse

We do not sell your details. We do not add you to a newsletter unless you have asked for one.

Legal basis

We process enquiry data so we can take steps at your request before a contract (your quote or message) and for our legitimate interest in running a studio and keeping records of who contacted us. Where Kenyan law requires consent for a specific use, we will ask.

We aim to follow the Data Protection Act, 2019. For complaints about how personal data is handled in Kenya you may also contact the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (ODPC).

Sharing

People inside the studio who handle sales and delivery can see relevant enquiries. We may use:

• An email / SMTP provider, if we have enabled it in settings, to deliver notifications
• Hosting for this website and its database

If you hire us for e-citizen facilitation, we may use details you provide to complete filings on official portals — with your instruction. We do not hand your enquiry to a government agency just because you filled this website form.

We may disclose information if the law requires it.

Cookies and third-party tools

This site uses a session cookie so forms can include a security token (CSRF). That cookie is necessary for the quote and contact forms to work.

A cookies banner appears on your first visit. Accept all allows optional analytics (Google Analytics or Meta Pixel) if we have enabled them. Essential only keeps the session cookie and still lets you send a quote or message. You can change this any time from Cookies in the footer.

Pages also load fonts from Google Fonts, CSS and JavaScript from a public CDN (jsDelivr), and — on the contact page — a Google Maps embed. Those providers may process technical data under their own policies. The map is only loaded on Contact.

How long we keep it

Enquiries stay in our studio systems while they are useful for follow-up and for a reasonable record of who contacted us, then we delete or anonymise them when they are no longer needed. Client project files follow the engagement. You can ask us to delete an enquiry that has not become a live job.

Your rights

Subject to Kenyan law, you can ask to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, or to object to certain processing. Email info@creativecrafts.cc with enough detail for us to find the record (the email you used on the form is usually enough). We may need to verify it is you.

Children

The site is aimed at businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children for studio marketing.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means the new text applies to later visits.
